Aktiv Sno Tric SC 20 workshop manual

Inlägg av eugeniocastiglioni » 17 nov 2019, 18:19

Hi everybody, I'm new on this forum. Sorry if I write in english but I'm from Italy and I don't speak swedish.
I'm doing a restoration of my '72 Aktiv sc20. At the moment I'm trying to take down the front axles but it seems an impossible job. Is there anyone who has suggestions of how to do it? Or someone who has a workshop manual to share?
Any advice will be valuable.
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
So cool to hear about a Italian who has a Sno-Tric  I can't imagen that they are very common?

I don't have a manual for SC20, but here you have a link to a manual for SC11, SC12 and SC14. Maybe you can use some info there...

Hi SS40-80, yes Aktiv is not very common in Italy and I think my Sno Tric sc20 is more or less the only one here. Actually we have also an '84 Grizzly de luxe and we use both in the Aosta Valley alps where we have a chalet that it can be reached in winter time only by snowmobile.
Thank you for the link, it's very kind from you, but unfortunately SC20 is quite different from the SC11-12-14 because of the double track.
I'll looking for again and hope that someone will have some helpful advice.
Besta regards.

Wow! You must take good care of your sleds :thumbright:

I don't know how much difference it is between SC2 and SC20, but here you have a Manual and a Spare parts list for SC2.
I hope these will give you some good info.

With front axels I presume you mean the drive wheels? I haven't tried removing them on mine but I can give you a tip to look over the gearbox for wear damage before you mount everything again. Check if the high gear got any round corner and if the low gear cogwheels are slightly bend or broken, if they are they most likely will need a replacement as the engine will force it out of gear while driving.
